Guidelines for Poster presentation

  • Each presenter has to stick their posters on the poster board. The recommended size for poster is: 105 cm height (top to bottom) x 75 cm width (left to right) is only accepted. The poster orientation should be vertical/portrait
  • Posters should include the title of the research, author(s) name, institution, country and corresponding author’s email. The name of the presenting author should be highlighted.
  • Each poster presentation will be given a unique number, date and session time for presentation, to be adhered strictly.
  • Posters should be self-explanatory covering Introduction, Objectives, Materials & Methods, Results & Discussion, Conclusion & Future Thrust and Acknowledgement. Summarize the research in graphic form wherever possible; use tables, graphs, pictures, etc. and minimize the amount of text. Please use preferably TIMES NEW ROMAN font throughout.
  • At least one author must be present during the poster presentation time to explain to the delegates and the committee of judges.
  • Best Poster awards will be decided by a panel of judges and announced in the plenary session.
  • A model poster template is attached for your reference.

 

Guidelines for Oral presentation

  • Duration allotted for each presenter: 8 minutes for oral presentation and 2 minutes for discussion.
  • Presentation should be prepared in power point mode (covering Introduction, Objectives, Methodology, Results with suitable table, diagram, figure and plates, Discussion, Conclusion and Future thrust).
  • First slide should contain title, names and affiliations of all the authors (name of the presenting author to be highlighted).
  • Top corners of the slides should bear logo/s of the organization in which the research was carried out.
